It\u2019s a place where friendships are built, resilience is strengthened, and unforgettable memories are made \u2014 all while having fun on and off the water as part of a supportive and adventurous community.<br><br>The Scouts meet <br>Sept &#8211; May @ scout hut 7-9<br>May- Aug @ River 6.45 &#8211; 8.45<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<div class=\"activity-box\">\n<div class=\"activity-box-left\">\n<h1>Activities and what you&#8217;ll get up to<\/h1>\n<p class=\"lead\">Build and develop your confidence, sense of adventure and outdoor skills. Explore you beliefs and attitudes and be creative.  Gain independence and put these skills into practice at camps and even on international trips At 1st Clifton our scouts have a year round program split into land and water activities. Land activites see everything from camps, pioneering, model making, escape rooms, social media creation and knots, whilst water activites sees them making the most of being in a River city by taking to the Ouse in Kayaks, Canoes, Sailing Boats, Pulling Boats, Paddle boards and Power boats from May to August<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<div class=\"awards-box\">\n<div class=\"awards-box-left\">\n<h1>Awards<\/h1>\n<p class=\"lead\">Scouts continue the hard work with the badges,  with a bigger range of activity badges including the chance to earn Nationally recognised water skills qualifications whilst working towards their Gold Chief Scouts Award. This time the chalegne badges look to more teamwork and expedition skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uniform-box\">\n<div class=\"uniform-box-left\">\n<h1>Uniform and badge placement<\/h1>\n<p class=\"lead\"> At 1st Clifton we are proud to stand out in our formal Sea Scout Uniform. We are navy affiliated so we wear a Navy Blue Jumper with a formal hat and Tally band, paired with formal trousers. Our leaders wear officers hats and shirts and ties. Of course we are also found in casual uniform when in fields and wetsuits on the water!
