Help keep adventure alive at 1st Clifton Sea Scouts
Behind every sailing trip, campfire, badge, and smiling young person at Sea Scouts is an incredible team of volunteers making it all possible — and we need more people to join us.
Not everyone needs to lead activities on the water. In fact, some of the most important roles happen behind the scenes. Whether you have practical skills, professional experience, organisational talent, or simply a willingness to help, there’s a place for you in our operational and support teams.
We’re looking for volunteers to help with:
- Boat and hut maintenance
- Cleaning and upkeep of our Scout HQ
- Administration and communications
- Advertising and social media
- Recruitment and community engagement
- Finance and governance
- Trustee Board roles and strategic support
You don’t need previous Scouting experience — just enthusiasm and a desire to make a difference to young people in our community.
Volunteering with 1st Clifton Sea Scouts is flexible, rewarding, and a fantastic way to meet new people, share your skills, and support life-changing opportunities for children and teenagers.
Every repaired boat, every organised event, every social media post, and every hour volunteered helps create unforgettable adventures for young people aged 6–18.
Join the team behind the adventure — and help shape the future of Sea Scouts in our community.
