Could You Help Inspire the Next Generation at 1st Clifton Sea Scouts?
Every campfire, sailing session, badge, hike, game, and adventure at Sea Scouts happens because adults give their time to support young people. Without volunteers, these life-changing opportunities simply could not run.
That’s why 1st Clifton Sea Scouts is looking for new section volunteers to help support our Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and Explorers.
You don’t need previous Scouting experience. You don’t need to be an outdoor expert. And you certainly don’t need to know how to sail before joining (or at all!). What matters most is enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to encourage young people to grow in confidence and have fun.
As a section volunteer, you could help with games, activities, water sessions, camping trips, badge work, or simply being an extra supportive adult in the room. Whether you can help every week or more occasionally, your contribution makes a real difference.
Most importantly, you will never be expected to do it alone. Full training, guidance, and ongoing support are provided, helping you build confidence and develop new skills along the way. Many volunteers are surprised by how much they gain personally — from friendships and teamwork to leadership skills and unforgettable experiences.
By volunteering, you help create opportunities that young people remember for the rest of their lives.
The adventures cannot happen without the adults who make them possible.
Join the team. Support the adventure. Help shape the future of young people in our community.
